Color TV

MISSION STATEMENT

Color TV is a networking organization.  Through Color TV, you meet other like-minded people who work in (or would like to work in) the movie, TV, video and multimedia industries.  You can collaborate with fellow Color TV members on your projects and take advantage of their talent, abilities and resources.  We come together monthly to meet each other, establish or renew alliances and encourage each other in our respective endeavors.  We seek to create a membership representing the many specialties of the above-mentioned industries, to collaborate on projects and events and to create learning opportunities for everyone to advance in his/her craft .   Color TV is NOT a production company. Please do not expect Color TV  (the organization) to take on the job of producing your project. However, members of the network may elect to help you with your project. If your project is a money making venture, then please hire Color TV members for the various positions that your production requires and pay them a rate that respects their experience and abilities.

As members of Color TV, we DO want provide an atmosphere that encourages members to create original content for the big screen, small screen or the 'net.  We DO want to provide opportunities for members to work on other members' projects.    We WANT to help you realize your vision(s). Remember, Color TV is not a production company, but Color TV MEMBERS are ready to partner with you. That's why we network.   There will be opportunities which you can request Color TV members to volunteer to work on your project, but please don't over use or abuse this attribute of Color TV.    Be upfront with your fellow members about your purposes for doing a particular project and have realistic expectations for the end result of the project. Communicate clearly what you need done and your objectives. You will find Color TV members to be very helpful.   I encourage each of you to attend the monthly meetings so that we can build the most effective media networking group in the Southwest.   Thanks and I encourage your feedback.
